<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize MIMO communication between a base station and a terminal station via a relay station without notifying the terminal station which frequency band the relay station is converting a signal frequency into. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal station receives a radio signal transmitted by a base station or a relay station in accordance with a MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) system in an area formed by the base station or the relay station relaying the radio signal transmitted by the base station. The terminal station comprises: a plurality of receiving units 31a-31d and 32a-32d for receiving a radio signal transmitted by a base station or a relay station; and a control unit 37 which detects an identification signal to detect a base station from the received radio signal, and if a frequency group including the identification signal is associated with the identification signal in a one-to-one manner in advance, determines the radio signal was directly received from the base station, whereas if a frequency group including the identification signal is not associated with the identification signal in a one-to-one manner in advance, determines the radio signal was directly received from the relay station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
