<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deviation in the recognition of a period between a station-side device and a customer-side device when the customer-side device is in a sleep mode. <P>SOLUTION: In a first period (Tb) of a sleep mode, the customer-side device (ONU) suspends communication with the station-side device (OLT). In a second period (Ta) of the sleep mode, the customer-side device (ONU) becomes a communicable state with the station-side device (OLT). The station-side device (OLT) sets the first and second periods (Tb, Ta) using the clock of the station-side device (OLT). Using a clock error of the internal clock of the customer-side device (ONU) relative to the clock of the station-side device (OLT), the customer-side device (ONU) corrects the first or second period (Tb, Ta) set by the station-side device (OLT), to measure the corrected first or second period, using the internal clock of the customer-side device (ONU). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
