Provided is a display device in which, without the use of an attachment member, a panel holding member, a bezel, or both can be attached securely and through the use of a simple configuration to a holding plate of a light-emitting-element mounting substrate without damaging the substrate and in which it is possible to handle an increase in the surface area of a drive circuit substrate disposed on the panel holding member. A display module (2) of a TV receiver is provided with a light-guide plate (23), a substrate holding plate (24) that is for holding a substrate (30) having a plurality of LEDs (31) and is disposed so as to oppose a side surface of the light-guide plate (23), a display panel (21) that is disposed so as to oppose a main surface of the light-guide plate (23), a panel holding member (26) that covers the substrate holding plate (24) and holds the display panel (21), and a bezel (27) that covers the peripheral portion of the display panel (21) and the panel holding member (26). The substrate holding plate (24) has a protruding attachment part (243) provided so as to extend from the opposite side from the display panel (21). The panel holding member (26), bezel (27), or both are configured so as to be attached to the attachment part (243) by a screw (32). |
