The present invention relates to a battery and a battery pack comprising the battery. The battery of the present invention comprises at least one first electrode, at least one second electrode, a separator membrane, and an electrolyte, where the first electrode and the second electrode are separately in contact with the electrolyte, and the separator membrane is arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode to prevent the first electrode and the second electrode from short circuiting, and is characterized in that: at least one first auxiliary electrode having equal area with the first electrode is arranged horizontally on the outside of the first electrode, where the first electrode and the first auxiliary electrode are isolated therebetween with an insulating membrane; at least one second auxiliary electrode having equal area with the second electrode is arranged horizontally on the outside of the second electrode, where the second electrode and the second auxiliary electrode are isolated therebetween with an insulating membrane; the auxiliary electrodes are isolated therebetween with an insulating membrane. Charging time of the battery of the present invention can be adjusted arbitrarily on the basis of need. |
