The present invention relates to a device for forming patterns of a large-area glass panel. The device for forming patterns of a large-area glass panel, according to the present invention, comprises: a lower jig; a pattern surface forming mold positioned at the upper portion of the lower jig and having a glass member placed thereon; and an upper jig positioned at the upper portion of the mold and pressing the glass member interposed between the mold and the upper jig by the weight of the glass member. According to the present invention, press work is carried out using only the load of the upper jig for a long period of time so as to enable the patterns of the large-area glass panel to be formed. In addition, a support part having a melting point similar to that of the glass member is used such that the load of the upper jig can be adjusted according to the melting state of the glass member as the ambient temperature of the operation increases.
