<p>The invention relates to a device (100) for controlling a chemical reaction, said device having:
- a container (13) comprising a solution (30) including at least one paramagnetic species;
- at least one electrode (20, 21) comprising at least one ferromagnetic material, said at least one electrode being dived in said solution;
- a means for applying an external magnetic field (H 0 ) so as to magnetize said electrode (20, 21), the combination of the external magnetic field (H 0 ) and the magnetization (M) of said electrode creating a magnetic induction field (B) in the electrodes (20, 21) and the container (13);
characterized in that said at least one electrode (20, 21) has either no cover layer of a non-ferromagnetic separating said electrode from the solution (30) or comprises a cover layer, which thickness is less than 40nm, of a non-ferromagnetic material separating said electrode (20, 21) from the solution (30).</p> |
