The present invention relates to a silicone compound which has a ring-type molecular structure inside a molecule, and reaction positions for a plurality of siloxane bonds inside the molecule, and is represented as chemical formula 1, to a transparent resin with excellent gas barrier properties composed of polysiloxane containing the silicone compound of the chemical formula 1, and to an encapsulation material manufactured using the transparent resin with excellent gas barrier properties. In the chemical formula 1, each of R^I and R^II is an independently substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of C1 to C10. The range of a is 0-3, the range of b is 0-2, and (a+b)<5 is satisfied.
