The present invention relates to a truck and bus radial tire and, more specifically, to the truck and bus radial tire which improves abnormal wear on a side of a shoulder. To achieve this, the truck and bus radial tire comprises: a tread (3) which is directly in contact with a road and having a groove (1) and a number of rib pattern grooves (2) to a tire circumferential direction; and a shoulder unit (5) which is in contact with the tread (3) and connected to a side wall (4). The rib pattern grooves (2) of the tread (3) have a basin middle groove (7) in an inclined wall (6) formed to the shoulder unit (5). The basin middle groove (7) is horizontally extended from the inclined wall (6) to a length (B) of (0.1 mm - 0.3 mm) × A mm compared to a depth (A) of the rib pattern grooves (2), and is connected to the inclined wall (6) at an obtuse angle (&thgr;) of 110° - 150°. |
