Disclosed is a brake device for a vehicle, which is capable of changing an effective area of a master cylinder according to situations. The brake device for a vehicle comprises: a cylinder body in which the compression of brake oil is performed; a first piston part moved along an indoor side of the cylinder body, for compressing the brake oil; a connection part having a smaller outer diameter than the first piston part, of which one side is connected to the first piston part, and of which the other side is extended to an outdoor side of the cylinder body; a tube line part for connecting the cylinder body and the wheel brake, and moving the compressed brake oil to the wheel brake by moving the connection part; and a valve part for controlling the movement of the brake oil moved along the tube line part. |
