The present invention relates to a food waste meter-rate processor having a sliding door. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a food waste meter-rate processor having a sliding door to maintain the size of the processor even when the sliding door is open. The processor includes: a storing space to store a food waste collecting bin; a food inlet on the top; a main collector which has a front door to insert or take out the food waste collecting bin; a sliding door which slides in a horizontal direction to close and open the food inlet; and an opening/closing device which is installed on the lower part of the sliding door and opens and closes the sliding door in accordance with the opening/closing signal of the control part. The opening/closing device is installed on the lower part of the sliding door. The opening/closing device includes: a hinge-type link which is multi-hinged in a cross shape; a rack which is connected to one of the link; and a pinion which is interlocked with a saw-tooth of the rack and rotates by the power of the motor in order to transfer the power of the motor according to the opening/closing signal of the control part. The sliding door has at least two parts which are folded in the storing part to keep a maximum size of the food inlet. The sliding door is formed to incline downward to the front. A communication part is installed on the main collector to communicate with the control part and is connected to a transmission interface of another main collector.
