The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling a driving position. The apparatus for controlling the driving position according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a camera module part for detecting a face of a driver; and a controller for determining whether the driver rides, detecting the face of the driver by controlling the camera module part if it is determined that the driver rides, determining whether the detected face of the driver is consistent with a Request of Interest (ROI), and, if it is determined that the detected face of the driver does not fall under the ROI, controlling a driving part through an electronic control unit (ECU) so that the detected face of the driver is consistent with the ROI. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the driving position can be conveniently controlled. |
