An expandable shelving rack structure comprises a supporting shelf 4 with a plurality of fixing sleeves 5 positioned in corners and/or side edges of the shelf for affixing to vertical holding rods 1, wherein the fixing sleeves have inserting grooves 51 symmetrically arranged in outer edges thereof. At least one additional supporting shelf comprises inserting plates 6 arranged in corners and/or side edges of the shelf, wherein the inserting plates are arc shaped and configured to insert into the inserting grooves of the fixing sleeves. The inserting plate further comprises two hook portions 61 respectively disposed on the top of the plate for cooperating with a corresponding portion of the inserting groove. The inserting grooves and inserting plates may also be tapered to hold the inserting plate against the inserting groove. |
