Abstract: Provided is a network management system that can minimize the length of time that communication becomes unavailable when a failure occurs in one of a plurality of redundant field wireless management stations. This network management system, in which field wireless management stations (11, 12) that incorporate gateway functionality and system-management functionality are connected redundantly, is characterized in that: each field wireless management station (11, 12) contains at least a switch module (11b, 12b); the field wireless management stations (11, 12) are connected to each other via a synchronization cable (30) and synchronization connectors (CNa, CNb) provided on said synchronization cable (30); and in a synchronization system that connects the switch modules (11b, 12b) to each other, switches (SWm) that turn said system on and off are connected in series. |
