Suction device with function module

The device has a suction motor for producing suction stream, and a suction device housing with an operating wall (23) for operating the suction device. A module retainer is arranged at the operating wall for retaining functional modules i.e. compressed air modules (50a), that are provided for electric and/or optic and/or acoustic functions. An electric connection arrangement is arranged at the module retainer for electrically connecting the functional modules at the suction device. The functional modules are detachably connected with the suction device housing by connection units.
