Disclosed are a method and system for broadcasting a content based on a channel. The method for broadcasting the content includes the steps of: generating the channel based on a specific group or a user terminal near a display device; and broadcasting the execution screen of the content displayed on the user terminal on the display device by connecting the user terminal to the generated channel.
