<p>The invention relates to a device and method for controlling the cooling of welded parts. The device comprises: a welding lance; a drum around which a thermal sheet is wound; and an element for securing the thermal sheet to the rear portion of the welding lance. In this way, by moving the lance in a welding direction, a weld seam is created that joins the two parts, and the thermal sheet is immediately deposited on said weld seam. The method comprises the following steps: providing a drum with a thermal sheet wound around same; securing a free end of the thermal sheet to the rear portion of a welding lance; moving the lance in a welding direction between two parts to be welded, thereby creating a weld seam between said parts; and depositing the thermal sheet on the weld seam.</p> |
