<p>A method of protecting a gas cylinder with a plastics sleeve, comprises the steps of placing a plastics sleeve over a complementary inflatable former of elastomeric material, inflating the former so as to reversibly to stretch the plastics sleeve radially, deflating the former, removing the sleeve from the former, and fitting the stretched plastics sleeve over the gas cylinder before the plastics sleeve shrinks again.</p> |
