A device authentication method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) having a first device requesting for authentication and a second device authenticating the first device perform recording respectively; (b) having the first device transmit first data recorded with the second device to the second device; and (c) having the second device compare the second data recorded by the second device and the first data received from the first device, and then determining whether to authenticate the first device in accordance with comparison result.
