The present invention suggests an apparatus for sensing a target vehicle using a rotational lidar sensor, and the rotational lidar sensor which is capable of sensing an adversary vehicle by controlling a mounting angle of a laser scanner when an unmanned autonomous driving vehicle in which the laser scanner is mounted, enters a slope way. The apparatus for sensing a target vehicle comprises: a slope way determining part for determining whether a front road is the slope way, and, if it is determined that the front road is the slope way, determining whether the front road is an uphill road or a downhill road; a vergence angle controller for controlling a vergence angle of a lidar sensor according to a determined result of determining whether the front road is the slope way, or a result of determining whether the front road is the uphill road or the downhill road; and a target vehicle sensing part for sensing the target vehicle located in the front using the lidar sensor, if the vergence angle of the lidar sensor is controlled. |
