The present invention relates to an intra oral impression acquisition apparatus and method and more specifically, to an intra oral impression acquisition apparatus composed of: a tactile marginal scanning module (100) that is composed of a probe (110) that detects a contact to the measured side containing the marginal area in the mouth; and an impression information calculation unit (120) that receives the contact information for multiple contacts from the probe (110) and performs arithmetic operation to calculate the impression information of the measured side including the multiple contact points. In the intra oral impression acquisition apparatus and method for easily obtaining impressions in the marginal area according to the present invention, by using the tactile marginal scanning module that is composed of an impression information calculation unit (120) that receives the contact information for multiple contacts from the probe (110) and performs arithmetic operation to calculate the impression information of the measured side including the multiple contact points, accurate impressions on a contact basis can be acquired even if the marginal area has body liquid, blood, spit or water. In other words, very accurate impression information can be acquired without getting affected by the environment by simply contacting the probe to the measured area, causing no pain or bleeding and minimizing inconvenience of patients. In addition, according to the present invention, optical impressions obtained by using the conventional method and impressions obtained by the tactile marginal area scanning module can be digitally synthesized to acquire more accurate impressions in a more efficient and economical way. |
