The present invention enables a method to manufacture a carrier film with a metal thin film, and comprises: a step of surface-treating one surface of a first slab; a step of forming the metal thin film on the treated surface of the first slab; a step of attaching the adhesive carrier film on the metal thin film; and a step of separating the metal thin plate (120) from the first slab (110) by applying a physical force to the adhesive carrier film. In addition, the present invention enables the method to manufacture the carrier film with the metal thin film by additionally comprising: a step of coating a dry film resist (DFR) on the surface of the metal thin film; a step of patterning the DFR; a step of treating the metal thin film using the patterned DFR; and a step of removing the DRF between the step of forming the metal thin film on the treated surface of the first slab, and the step of attaching the adhesive carrier film on the metal thin film. Therefore, the present invention is capable of forming the metal thin film on the slab with low wettability, and easily separating the metal thin film from the slab without damage. Moreover, the present invention is capable of forming the metal thin film on the slab at low costs by a roll-to-roll process as the carrier film whereon the metal thin film is attached is formed of a flexible material. Finally, patterning the metal thin film with the method for patterning the DFR is available.
