<p>The invention relates to a device for the combined physical-chemical purification of exhaust air and waste water and for the disinfection of potable water, comprising a column (K) having four zones (K1, K2, K3, K4), which are operated in counterflow using washing liquid, wherein the first zone (K1) is used to oxidize exhaust air, raw water, or waste water and for this purpose comprises a jet gas ventilator (VO1) for drawing exhaust gas and/or ozone and a circulation circuit of the first zone (K1) operated by means of a first pump (P1), wherein the jet gas ventilator (VO1) is driven by means of a liquid circulated in the circulation circuit of the first zone (K1), the second zone (K2) is used to wash exhaust air and for this purpose comprises a circulation circuit of the second zone (K2) operated by means of a second pump (P2), to which circulation circuit washing water or lye, preferably sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH), can be fed, the third zone (K3) is used to destroy residual ozone in the exhaust air and/or in the water and to provide filtration and for this purpose comprises an activated carbon filter and a circulation circuit of the third zone (K3) operated by means of a third pump (P3), and the fourth zone (K4) is used to remove water drops from the exhaust air and for this purpose comprises a centrifugal separator or a demister, and a method using said device.</p> |
