一种伺服器功耗控制方法及系统，该系统用于：统计CPU的P-state、负载及伺服器的功耗之间的关系，建立关系列表；当伺服器工作时，读取CPU当前的P-state值和负载，从关系列表中查询对应的功耗资料，得到伺服器当前的总功耗；当伺服器当前的总功耗超过预设功耗时，从关系列表中查询预设功耗和预设负载所对应的P-state值；控制CPU将当前的P-state设置为上述查询得到的P-state值。本发明可以读取伺服器的功耗，并将该功耗限定在一定范围内。; read a current P-state and a current loading of the CPU when the server is working, acquire a corresponding power dissipation from the relationship list, and obtain a total power dissipation of the server; acquire a P-state corresponding to a preset power dissipation and a preset loading from the relationship list, in response that the total power dissipation of the server exceed the preset power dissipation; control the CPU to set the current P-state as the acquired P-state.
