<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting which can fix an elastic contact piece to a terminal fitting body while suppressing strength deterioration of the terminal fitting.SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 1 includes a body part 10 having a terminal connection part 20 connected to a mating terminal fitting, and an elastic contact piece 50 which is formed into a separate body from the body part. The elastic contact piece 50 is arranged in the terminal connection part 20 and elastically contacts the mating terminal fitting. The elastic contact piece is caulked by a caulking piece 26 formed by cutting and raising a part of the body part 10. Base end side holes 27 are provided on both ends in a width direction of the base end position in the caulking piece 26 in the body part 10, a part excluding the part in which the base end side holes 27 are formed on a side edge 26A of the caulking piece 26 is separated from the body part 10 with shearing. With this configuration, the terminal fitting 1 which can fix the elastic contact piece 50 to the body part 10 while suppressing the strength deterioration of the terminal fitting 1 can be provided.</p> |
