<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To oscillate the pulse laser light having excellent linear polarization and a high peak power even after wavelength conversion, without employing a low frequency excitation technique, in a Q switch laser device having a YAG laser medium containing a rare earth element.SOLUTION: When bonding a YAG 6 not containing a rare earth element, to the plane of incidence of a laser medium 8, deformation of the plane of incidence is suppressed, thinning of the beam diameter in the laser medium 8 is suppressed even if the repetition frequency of the exciting light 4 is increased, and lowering of power of the laser light 14 is suppressed. Furthermore, when setting the extension direction of the <100> axis of the YAG along the optical axis of the resonance system of the laser light 14, pulse laser light 14 subjected to linear polarization is obtained.</p> |
