<p>The invention provides small-sized compact blow molding apparatus which has good production efficiency which can perform extending blow molding on a preform with a relatively thick wall at high elongation to manufacture a large-sized bottle. The blow molding apparatus (1) of the invention transports a support (7) on which the preform (2) is mounted in an upside down state along a rectangular circular path (6) constituted by a first straight line transporting path (11), a second straight line transporting path, a third straight line transporting path and a fourth straight line transporting path which are arranged on the same plane. The first straight line transporting path (11) and the second straight line transporting path (12) are provided with a first heating part (17) and a second heating part (18) which perform external heating and inner heating on the preform with a relatively thick wall to heat uniformly. The heated preform (2) is extendedly blow-molded in a first treatment part (19) on the third straight line transporting path (13) to form an intermediate shaped product (4), the intermediate shaped product (4) is extendedly blow-molded in a second treatment part (20) to obtain a finished product, i.e., a bottle (3). By dividing extending blow-molding into two stages, the large-sized bottle (3) can be obtained with no surplus tensile stress left.</p> |
