Provided is a sensor cell which exhibits excellent measurement accuracy in repeated measurements. An optical waveguide (100) according to the present invention is provided with a cladding layer (11) and a core layer (12) that is embedded in the cladding layer (11) so that at least a surface of the core layer (12) is exposed therefrom. The contact angle with water of a surface of the cladding layer, from said surface the core layer being exposed, is 80° or more. An SPR sensor cell and a colorimetric sensor according to the present invention comprise this optical waveguide (100).
