<p>THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER COMPOSITION FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING, INCLUDING: A POLYESTER POLYOL (A) OBTAINED BY POLYCONDENSING A POLYVALENT CARBOXYLIC ACID (A-1) CONTAINING SEBACIC ACID AS A MAIN COMPONENT AND A POLYHYDRIC ALCOHOL (A-2) SELECTED FROM (I) A LINEAR GLYCOL HAVING 2 TO 4 CARBON ATOMS, (II) A LINEAR GLYCOL HAVING 2 TO 4 CARBON ATOMS AND A GLYCOL HAVING 2 TO 4 CARBON ATOMS WITH AN ALKYL SIDE CHAIN AND (III) A LINEAR GLYCOL HAVING 2 TO 4 CARBON ATOMS AND 1,6-HEXANEGLYCOL; A POLYISOCYANATE COMPOUND (B); AND A MIXTURE (C) OF A SHORT-CHAIN DIOL AND A SHORT-CHAIN TRIOL. THE POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER COMPOSITION FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING HAS REDUCED TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCY, IMPROVED LONG-TERM DURABILITY AND SATISFACTORY MECHANICAL STRENGTH. AN ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING MEMBER IS ALSO PROVIDED.</p> |
