<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flat soft magnetic powder suppressing imaginary part permeability μ' low while presenting high real part permeability μ' in a high frequency band when applied to a magnetic body, and also to provide the magnetic body using the flat soft magnetic powder. <P>SOLUTION: The flat soft magnetic powder consists of an Fe-Cr based alloy, an average particle diameter D<SB>50</SB>is ≤30 μm, and an aspect ratio is within the range of 3-40. It is preferable that the Fe-Cr based alloy is an Fe-Cr alloy or an Fe-Cr-Si alloy. Also, the magnetic body includes the flat soft magnetic powder. The magnetic body is suitably applicable in the frequency range of 500 MHz-3 GHz.
