PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an observation image of an analyte in different phases by associating an insert position with a distal end position of a virtual rigid surgical instrument, in a first image and a second image representing analyte having different phases from each other, in an image processing device, method, and program.SOLUTION: On the basis of a first insertion position QA1 and a first distal end position PA1 of a first image 21 and deformation information for deforming the first image 21 so as to be aligned with a second image 22, a second insertion position QA2 of the second image 22 corresponding to the first insertion position QA1 is specified. A second distal end position PA2 is specified so that a direction corresponding to a first insertion direction VA1 from the first insert position QA1 toward the first distal end position PA1 becomes a second insertion direction VA2 from the second insertion position QA2 toward a second distal end position PA2. A second observation image in which the inside of an analyte of a phase corresponding to the second image 21 is visualized, with the second distal end position PA2 as a view point, is generated. |
