PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow molding bottle, e.g. a baby bottle, which is reduced in sensibility of an article to the haze by fat and oil of the human body on touching with fingers, does not cause birefringence or adverse shrinkage or deformation and allows exposure to boiled water.SOLUTION: In a method of producing a blow molding bottle, e.g. a baby bottle, by injection-molding a polymer material having a glass transition temperature of 100-130°C to form a preform and blow-molding the preform, a combination of a drawing ratio of smaller than 3 and a preform temperature at least 20°C higher than the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the polymer material is used. The polymer material contains a terephthalic acid residue, 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol residue and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol residue. A blow molding bottle, e.g. a baby bottle, has a permeation ratio of greater than 0.80, a shrinkage ratio of 5% or lower after 1-h immersion in boiled water and a birefringence of 0.02 or less. |
