摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery in which a fluorine-containing manganese phosphate compound is used as a positive electrode active material, so that battery performance thereof is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary battery provided by the present invention comprises: a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material; and a nonaqueous electrolyte including a supporting salt. The positive electrode active material is a manganese phosphate compound represented by the following general formula: Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Mn<SB POS="POST">1-x</SB>M'<SB POS="POST">x</SB>PO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>F.
