<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery protection circuit in which power consumption is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the secondary battery protection circuit characterized in that: it includes a charging power supply monitoring circuit for monitoring a state of power of a charging power supply of a secondary battery, an overdischarge detection circuit for detecting an overdischarge state of the secondary battery, and a control unit; and, when the charging power supply monitoring circuit determines that the charging power supply is in a state where there is no power necessary to charge the secondary battery, the control unit stops an operation of the overdischarge detection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
