<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce memory, a circuit scale, and a processing time even in the case of performing flicker correction when taking a moving image of a high frame rate. <P>SOLUTION: A part 12 for calculation of the necessary number of sheets calculates the least common multiple of 1/a and 1/b from the frame rate a [fps] of a moving image to be taken by an imaging part 13 and a flicker frequency b [Hz] of a light source, and calculates the minimum divisor n excepting 1 included in the value of the denominator in a case when the value of the numerator of the calculated least common multiple is converted to a. A reference image generation part 15 averages n sheets of frame images taken at intervals obtained by dividing, by n, an integral multiple of a cycle based on the flicker frequency b to generate a reference image.
