In a power conversion device, a first switching circuit (4) controls the received amount of the input power from an AC power supply (1). A second switching circuit (8) controls DC voltage to control power for charging a first DC voltage source (11). An inverter (17) converts the DC voltage obtained by a third switching circuit (13) to an AC voltage and supplies power to an AC load. A fourth switching circuit (30) controls DC voltage to control power for charging a second DC voltage source (34), thereby performing a distribution control of the input power. During the distribution control of the input power, it is possible to stop charging the first DC voltage source (11) and the second DC voltage source (34) by stopping the operations of the second switching circuit (8) and the fourth switching circuit (30). |
