The present invention addresses the problem of providing, in a terminal provided with a plurality of wireless communication schemes, an initiator terminal and a target terminal for efficiently performing a process for recovery in data transmission and reception when errors occur. This initiator terminal is provided with: a first wireless unit connected with a target terminal via wireless communication using a first wireless communication scheme; a second wireless unit connected with the target terminal via wireless communication using a second wireless communication scheme differing from the first wireless communication scheme; and an access processing unit for performing an access protocol process for establishing remote access to a storage medium of the target terminal. When errors occur during access to the storage medium, the access processing unit switches the processes used to address the errors between wireless communication using the first wireless unit and wireless communication using the second wireless unit.
