The transport device (1) comprises: a centrifuge tube (201) for holding a high specific gravity solution and a low specific gravity solution between which an interface is formed; and a retrieval basket (17), which is disposed inside the centrifuge tube (201) separated from the cells or tissue that is being held at the interface and is for retrieving the cells or tissue that is being held at the interface.
