DETECTOR USING AC SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector capable of accurately detecting a state of a detecting object even when a voltage value of an AC signal varies.SOLUTION: A leak detector 100 includes: a control unit 1 having an AC signal generation section 4 and a voltage detection section 5; and a coupling capacitor C1 disposed between the control unit 1 and a DC power supply B2. The voltage detection section 5 detects a voltage, at one end of the coupling capacitor C1, varying depending on the presence/absence of an electric leak of the DC power supply B2. The control unit 1 converts a voltage V2 detected by the voltage detection section 5 at the timing when the voltage at one end of the coupling capacitor C1 becomes a minimum value into information indicating a leak state of the DC power supply B2 and outputs the information.
