Provided in the present invention are a method and device for device-to-device (D2D) communication. The method comprises: a first device acquires a communication signal resource and timing information of the communication signal resource, where the communication signal resource is used for D2D communication; and, the first device receives on the communication signal resource, on the basis of the timing information of the communication signal resource, a communication signal transmitted by a second device. Provided in the present invention, the method and device for D2D communication are capable of implementing synchronization among user equipment of D2D communication, thus allowing clients that are located in different cells to use a device-to-device proximity service. |
