PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal discoloration type writing implement with a built-in thermal discoloration ink that can be immediately brought to a writable state (pen point jutted state) or preserved state (pen point sunk state) even when only one hand can be used, and that makes it possible to immediately proceed to a frictional discoloration work without the necessity of re-holding a penholder with the penholder held in one hand after completion of writing.SOLUTION: At least one writing core 6 and at least one frictional core 7 are stowed in a penholder 2 so that they can be moved back and force. A thermal discoloration ink 63 is stowed in the writing core 6. A pen point 61 through which the thermal discoloration ink 63 can be jetted out is disposed at the front end of the writing core 6. A chip 71 that rubs a trace of the thermal discoloration ink 63 and thermally discolors the trace with frictional heat dissipated at that time is disposed at the front end of the frictional core 7. A jutting and sinking mechanism is included to selectively enable the pen point 61 of the writing core 6 and the chip 71 of the frictional core 7 to be jutted out or sunk through a front-end hole 31 of the penholder. |
