PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which reduces the amount of data communication for displaying a preview which is an image of a print result of object data whose printing is required of an image forming apparatus by a mobile device.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: storage means for preliminarily storing a plurality of fonts including an equal width font having a constant character width; determination means for determining whether or not a font included in data for forming an image is stored in the storage means; determination means for determining whether or not the font included in the data is an equal width font; and display means for displaying a preview of the image formed from the data with the equal width font stored in the storage means in place of the font included in the data in the case in which the font included in the data is not stored in the storage means and is an equal width font.
