<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for preparing a charging order to and an extracting order from a heating furnace and a rolling order, by which the cycle schedules of the charging order to the heating furnace and the rolling order which satisfy restriction by rolling and restriction by heating and are excellent in rolling efficiency and heating efficiency, are prepared. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing the charging order to and the extracting order from the heating furnace and the rolling order satisfies the restriction by rolling and the restriction by heating which are prepared on the basis of a result data of the cycle in process, a material source data and a setting data which are obtained in a data reading-in step (S1) and through a step (S2) for calculating the number of remaining assembly, a step (S3) for calculating the change of the stock of slabs, steps (S4-S12) for preparing the range of an assembling position and a slab allotting step (S13).
