摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light ray reflective coating material materializing high heat-shielding property and effective light ray reflection. <P>SOLUTION: The light ray reflective coating material comprises secondary particle pigment which is obtained by granulating primary particles having a volume-average particle size of 0.05 to 5μm, composed of a mixture of silica and titania, has a volume-average particle size of 1 to 50μm and has a content of 20 mass% or more on the basis of mass of the total nonvolatile component. Therein, the secondary particle pigment is characterized in that at least a part (desirably at least 5 vol.%) of voids formed among the primary particles are filled with gas after evaporation of volatile component. Besides the mixture of silica and titania, at least one kind selected from a group consisting of silica, alumina, titania, zirconia, ceria, glass powder (refractive index of 1.45 to 2.0), barium sulfate and calcium carbonate also can be used as inorganic material constituting the primary particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
