<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of detecting the wearing state of a feed cassette and can reduce manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming part 10, there are formed patterns 55C to 55K for detection corresponding to each of a plurality of colors on an endless belt 11C while forming images of the plurality of colors so as to be superposed on a seat or the endless belt 11C. A detection means 50 includes a detector plane 51 facing the endless belt 11C which can detect the patterns 55C for detection. A shutter member 60 is displaced between the endless belt 11C and the detector plane 51 in order to switch a closed state which covers at least a part of the detector plane 51 and a patulous state which opens the detector plane 51. An interlock mechanism 70 interlocks with wearing and the drawing of a feed cassette 21 to displace the shutter member 60. A deciding means 90 deciding whether the feed cassette 21 is worn or not while deciding the state of the image formed by the image forming part 10 on the basis of the detection result of the detection means 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
