<p>A scroll fluid machine is characterized by having: a stationary scroll (4) and an orbiting scroll (5), which are provided within a hermetic container (60); a frame (6) for supporting the orbiting scroll (5) so that the orbiting scroll can orbit; a space (6c) within the frame, the space (6c) being formed between the frame (6) and the orbiting scroll (5); a main shaft (14) for transmitting drive power to the orbiting scroll (5); an oil discharge hole (6b) formed extending through the frame (6) and discharging excessive oil present inside the space (6c) within the frame to the outside of the frame (6); and an oil discharge valve (28) provided to the oil discharge hole (6b) and opening and closing the oil discharge hole (6b) according to oil pressure (P) within the space (6c) within the frame.</p> |
