<p>Provided are: a processed tea product which does not generate waste, namely tea grounds, in drinking, which has good organoleptic grades in surface appearance, deliciousness such as flavor, mouthfeel (mouthfeel in drinking), feeling of strongness and so on and which enables an efficient intake of catechin; and a method for manufacturing the same. This processed tea product is composed of a dried product of a tea extract, wherein the content ratio of water-soluble solid matter [A] to water-insoluble solid matter [B], [A]/[B], is 0.5 to 40.0. The dried product of a tea extract is obtained by heat drying a tea extract obtained by subjecting small cut pieces of tea leaves to extraction.</p> |
