<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a life and to improve the collecting efficiency of a filter, and at the same time, to efficiently collect carbon dust by making the filter medium impregnated with oil. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-impregnated filter medium 1 is obtained by making a nonwoven fabric impregnated with oil and the nonwoven fabric has a multilayer structure with a density gradient composed of a coarse layer 11 at the upstream side and a dense layer 12 at the downstream side and in the dense layer 12, a structure of a fiber mixture containing lipophilic fibers and oil repellent fibers which are partially fused is fixed. The dense layer 12 contains 5 wt.% or more and 30 wt.% or less of the oil repellent fibers in the fiber mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
