<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fan efficiency of a centrifugal blower having no scroll casing.SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower comprises a fan 12 having a plurality of pieces of blades 13, and a casing 15 for accommodating the fan 12. A radial outside region of the fan 12 out of the casing 15 has an air passage 22 in which air blown out of the fan 12 flows, a blow-out port 23 for blowing out the air flowing in the air passage 22 is formed at an end part in a radial direction of the fan 12 out of the casing 15, a width dimension W1 of a region out of the air passage 22 between the fan 12 and the blow-out port 23 is larger than a diameter d1 of the fan 12, the air passage 22 has a diameter-expanded part 28 which is expanded to at least one side of an axial direction of the fan 12, and the diameter-expanded part 28 is a space in which the air blown out of the fan 12 swirls.</p> |
