<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting method of printing paper in a double-sided thermal printer which does not require the adjusting of the clearance between a plurality of thermal heads and a plurality of platen rollers when loading the printing paper in a printing portion and allows the loading of the printing paper automatically, and to provide the double-sided thermal printer. <P>SOLUTION: When a first sensor 6 detects the forefront part of the printing paper 2 delivered from a feed zone 3, the printing paper 2 is made to be enabled to be transferred in a second sensor 7 direction by actuating a roller 5 for transfer. In the case of double-sided printing, when the second sensor 7 detects a position distinguishing mark 25 of a printing paper 2, the printing paper 2 is transferred to the position between the first thermal head 10 and the first platen roller 9 by actuating the roller 5 for transfer, and then the printing on the printing paper 2 by the printing portion 8 is allowed to be started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
