<p>Provided is an information processing technology whereby determination of product positioning in a store is made simpler. First information (customer action characteristic) relating to a probability of a customer remaining in a store with respect to elapsed time after entering the store, second information (information relating to a site) which indicates distances among a plurality of shelves which are disposed in the store, and third information which indicates remaining time in which the customer remains in the store (DP6) and a movement period with which the customer carries out a movement among the shelves (DP7), and simulation conditions of a) the customer commences moving from the store entrance, b) the probability is high that the customer moves to the shelf among the plurality of shelves which is nearer in movement distance than the shelf which is further in movement distance, c) the customer remains in the store only for the remaining time, and d) the customer moves to a random destination shelf are used in calculating a probability (AP) that the customer will remain with respect to each of the plurality of shelves.</p> |
